Sharon Miller
Founder, The Gown Gallery
A native of Kansas City, Kansas, and graduate of Sumner High School, Sharon headed to Wichita in 1969 to attend Wichita State University.
After 17 years in banking as Regional Vice President of a major local bank, she started her home-based business in 1990, offering eveningwear rental and sales. Today Sharon is the owner of The Gown Gallery, a nationally recognized bridal, formal wear and tuxedo company in Kansas City, Missouri.
Sharon believes in giving back to her community:
• Serves on the boards of the Merriam Arts Association and the
Kansas City Metropolitan Dance Theatre.
• Member of The First African Methodist Episcopal Church in
Kansas City, Kansas, where she serves on the Trustee Board and
Finance Commission, and is a member of the Sanctuary Choir.
Sharon lives in Kansas City, Kansas, and has two adult sons and two granddaughters. Maybe there are future brides on the horizon!
